Greggs give cryptic comment on whether they will be catering Taylor Swift’s Wembley crew.
Taylor Swift loves a sausage roll I hear. She loves them so much that she is getting Greggs to cater for her crew at Wembley Stadium, or is she? Greggs gave MyLondon a very cryptic comment when asked.
When Taylor was in Scotland on the Edinburgh leg of her Ears Tour, the star bought her and her team thousands of pounds on pastry delights from the nation’s bakery chain favourite Gregss. These included sausage rolls, steak bakes and more.
Fans love to hear about what their favourite stars tuck in to on tour and MyLondon took the steps to ask Greggs themselves if they will be catering Taylor again when she plays Wembley Stadium on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (June 21-23). They were clearly feeling in a teasing and cryptic mood when they responded.
A spokesperson for Greggs said: “Wouldn’t that be amazing. We couldn’t possibly confirm!” Are they? Are they not? Since they have not explicitly denied the statement then we can presume that they could be involved in feeding the masses of crew and Taylor herself on one of the dates of her show.
She plays London this Friday (June 21), Saturday (June 22) and Sunday (June 23) and on one of those days it seems like Taylor already has one day catered. According to The Sun, the 34-year-old has paid a kebab shop in Kentish Town, called Kentish Delight, £450 for an order.
A source told The Sun: “They’ll be collected by someone from her team on the night.” Taylor is no stranger to Kentish Delight herself, grabbing a takeaway from the shop before with her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, and also filmed the video for her song End Game in the shop.
